Review: Shakespeare for Squirrels by Christopher Moore

Review by Jessica R.

Overall rating 9/10

Summary: Whimsical, naughty, dramatic, witty, and unapologetically Moore – set in the mythical world of medieval Athens brimming with fairies, goblins, Kings, fools and …squirrels.

Review: A satire of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in only the way Christopher Moore can deliver it. It’s easy to find a fascination and love for the main characters, with all their sweet, strange, offbeat and real down-to-earthness. Full of very human moments like love, frustration, sadness, anger and arousal, it keeps you coming back for more chapter after chapter. One thing is for sure – you will never look at squirrels the same way, ever again!
